Help Jim Uhring & Family Pay Surging Medical Bills

The family of Jim Uhring needs our help! Anyone who has been lucky enough to meet Jim knows he is a good, solid family man. Jim has always been a big supporter of his wife and her career; he is a caring and nurturing father to their two beautiful children; and to the people who know him best, he is a faithful and giving friend. Unfortunately, Jim's medical emergencies are threatening to wreck the financial stability of this family.
Jim took his first stroke in August of 2017. It damaged the frontal and temporal lobe on the left side of his brain. On March 16, 2020, he was transported to the hospital by Life Flight following a car accident. This accident was due to another stroke, which wiped out the entire left side of his brain. Jim was in the ICU for days, needing multiple MRI scans and X-rays. The discharge to rehabilitation was short lived, as strokes and brain bleeding continued, resulting in more ambulance rides and hospitalizations.
Jim is also a diabetic, which has caused many problems with his foot and led to three surgeries in an attempt to save it. Jim’s foot has been debrided multiple times, and he has painful ulcers on his feet. Recently, an infection, which started in his foot, made its way to Jim's blood stream. He has been hospitalized for septic shock and is preparing for a bone biopsy.
Meanwhile Jim continues to see speech, occupational, and physical therapists three times a week.
Currently Jim's out-of-pocket medical expenses total $250,000, but they are expected to reach 2 million. This pending financial burden is very real and threatens to cripple his family's financial well-being. Jim and Elise have built themselves up from very humble beginnings. Everything they have has been earned by hard work and dedication. It is with much urgency that we ask for your monetary donation. Please consider helping Jim!
