Support Team Soufrères (now a registered UK charity) in the Tough Mudder and Spartan Challenge for St. Lucia!
This May 10th, we're taking on the Tough Mudder—a gruelling 15km run peppered with 30 challenging obstacles. We're not just running for fun; we're running for a cause close to our hearts. Team Soufrères is committed to raising funds and awareness for our charity, dedicated to supporting the Black Panthers, a grassroots football organisation in St. Lucia that's making a huge difference in the lives of young athletes and the wider community.
Why We Care
Our experiences in St. Lucia have left an indelible mark on us. The island's breathtaking beauty and the warmth of its people have inspired us to give back. That’s why we formed Soufrères, named after the French word 'frère' meaning 'brother,' to symbolise our bond and our commitment to the Soufrière community.
The Power of Football
Football is more than a game. It teaches young people responsibility, pride, and respect. It builds community spirit and fuels local pride. Through Soufrères, we aim to ensure the Black Panthers can continue their incredible work, empowering young people to reach their full potential and supporting inclusive participation in sport, regardless of financial barriers.
Your Support Makes a Difference
Every donation helps us provide essential coaching, equipment, and opportunities for the youth and senior teams of the Black Panthers. Your support will enable us to:
Fund coaching qualifications and support ongoing coaching efforts.
Supply the necessary equipment for all participants to excel.
Facilitate broad community involvement in football, making it accessible to everyone.
Watching the Black Panthers triumph on the field and seeing their impact on the community has been truly inspiring. With your help, we can ensure this vital community resource not only survives but thrives.
