On June 26, our community experienced an immeasurable loss when Elizabeth “Lizzy” Blackman passed away following an UTV accident. Lizzy was a warm‑hearted and spirited young girl whose kindness, energy, and loving nature touched everyone who knew her. She excelled in dance and softball. She was cherished in her roles as a daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend.

No family should ever have to bury a child. In response to this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign has been established to help the family cover funeral and burial expenses and to alleviate some of the financial strain during this deeply difficult time. Contributions will assist with immediate costs and allow the family to focus on grieving and remembering Lizzy.
