Hello, my name is Rose. I live in New York, and I am starting this GoFundMe page because my daughter got into a car accident with her baby in the backseat. God bless them; they were both in their car seats, buckled tightly.
On December 25th, around 5:00 p.m., the Life360 app sent out an alert to my cell phone, along with all my other family members who are part of this app. It stated that Keije had been in a car accident. My heart skipped a beat, and I went into panic mode. My son and I then drove to the destination where Life360 guided us. When we pulled up, all we saw were flashing red and green lights.
We jumped out of the car immediately, but we were stopped by firemen, and they told us to wait. Then they took us to where they both were, which was in an ambulance, and they both looked as though they were in shock. At that time, I believe my son and I were in shock as well.
So my daughter no longer has a vehicle for her and her little baby to get around to daycare and work. If you can help her out in any way, she will be truly grateful, and so will I.
I can say one thing: having the Life360 app is a wonderful technology to have because it pinpointed where my daughter was and alerted me right away when something happened. I advise everyone to have the app called Life360. It tells you where your loved ones are in times of need, and it has directions to show you how to get to them.
But the most important thing is that both of them had seatbelts on. Leilani was in a baby car seat, and my daughter was buckled up. Thank you, Lord, for blessing them to still be here today. Even though they don’t have a vehicle, those are material things that can come and go, but not a life.
