Dear friends and compassionate souls,

Our dear friend Danielle is currently facing an unimaginable challenge after a tragic accident on Christmas Eve. While cooking dinner, she accidentally spilled scalding hot water, resulting in second-degree burns covering over 35% of her body. Danielle is currently undergoing treatment at Mass General Hospital in the ICU burn unit.

Wednesday she underwent surgery for a skin graft on her legs, and another surgery is scheduled for Tuesday to address other severely burned areas depending on the urgency. The pain Danielle is enduring is beyond comprehension, and she needs our support now more than ever.

In an effort to assist her during this challenging time, I have set up this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will contribute to medical expenses, rehabilitation, and any additional support she may require on this arduous journey to recovery. If you can find it in your hearts to contribute, no matter the amount, it will make a meaningful impact on her path toward healing. For those who wish to visit her, the hospital allows visitors between 11 AM and 8 PM. If you're interested in visiting, please reach out, and Danielle can provide room information. Please refrain from sending any flowers, stuffed animals, balloons or other things of the same nature as they are currently prohibited from the ICU burn unit.
