On 12/26/2024, Emmitt James and Charlotte Rue Posl joined the world at 4:36 and 4:37am at 25 weeks and 3 days. Emmitt was 1lb 15oz and Charlotte was 1lb 11oz.
Devastatingly, after fighting for 9 tough days, Emmitt James passed away in Mom’s arms with Dad close by.
While missing Emmitt greatly and trying to process through the grief, Mom and Dad are putting all their energy into sister Charlie and her continued growth and progress.
Jana, Ben, and Charlotte have a long road ahead of them, and the purpose of this fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden of an extended stay in the NICU, as well as any other bills, food, and travel costs.
