This woman has been my rock, my go-to, my bestfriend, my heart-sister. She is the golden retriever to my black cat and right now, she needs so much more than I can give.
Ceinwyn and her family lost their house this afternoon (July 9th) in the fast moving B&O Fire in Okanogan. With only a 5 minute warning to grab their pets and secure what livestock they could, they didn't have time to grab basic essentials like clothes, toiletries, etc. Sadly, their beautiful home and everything in it, their entire lives of the memories and the everyday, is completely gone.
If you know Ceinwyn and her husband, Brandon, you know that asking for help is the last thing they want to do and while insurance may help rebuild the walls of the house one day, until the slow process of insurance and red tape does it's thing, they need help replacing those everyday items - clothing and basic necessities for the family, feed for the livestock, building materials to patch what needs to be done before they can fully rebuild, etc.
Every little bit helps take just a little of the pressure off them and allows them to focus on grieving the loss of their home and then rebuilding a new future.
