A tragic kayaking accident on May 22rd took Carole from her family and her extended family of nursing coworkers. She had just recently purchased her kayak, to give herself the chance to have a little "me time" that nurses so rarely get.  Carole was a loving spouse, joyful mother, and amazing nurse; she was always ready to lend a hand and put others first. Carole was a very youthful woman, who loved music, sports, and especially her family.   Her family is devastated over the sudden loss of their beloved mother and wife, and are now facing the hardship of both emotional and financial strains. 

I knew Carole as a VNA wound nurse that always brought her "A" game. She cared so much for her patients and unselfishly spent hours of her time educating her fellow nurses so we could provide the same care that she so competently did.  She was held in very high regard by her nursing co-workers, who will miss her dearly.

Carole was a bright light in this world, always ready with a smile and a kind word.
