Ali was recently diagnosed with a large abdominal mass that had to be removed immediately.  The recovery period is expected to be as long as 6 weeks.  Because she works on a contract, she does not receive paid leave and is not eligible for disability or unemployment.  Therefore, Ali will have no income to pay her bills or to live on during her recovery.  Thanks to the ACA and MN care, she has been able to buy health insurance.  She enjoys her work and is anxious to return, but must take the time to recuperate fully.
The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to support Ali for the next 6 weeks during her recovery time.
