Help and Support Floyd Smith's Fight for Life

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We are reaching out during a very challenging time to ask for your support for my Uncle Floyd Smith and Aunt Linda Smith. What was meant to be a joyous new chapter in their lives has turned into an unexpected and difficult battle. Married for almost 40 years and recently becoming grandparents for the first time, Floyd and Linda moved from Pennsylvania to Florida, filled with excitement to meet their grandchildren and be closer to their children. However, shortly after arriving, Floyd was admitted to Advent Health Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Already managing diabetes, Floyd was diagnosed with sepsis and pneumonia. His condition rapidly worsened, and within two weeks, he developed Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). For the past two weeks, Floyd has been in the ICU, on a ventilator, and in an induced coma. Each day is a fight for his life as his body struggles to heal.

Floyd has dedicated his life to helping children as a behavioral counselor, spreading hope and love to those in need. He left his job in Pennsylvania to start a new chapter in Florida, set to begin his new job on July 15, 2024. Unfortunately, Floyd's health crisis has left him unable to start his new job, and he and Linda are now facing significant challenges without his income.

We are humbly asking for your donations to help support the Smiths during this incredibly tough time. Your contributions will provide shelter, food, and gasoline for Linda as she stays by Floyd's side in Florida. Additionally, the funds will help cover medical bills, allowing the family to focus on what truly matters: supporting Floyd with prayers and positivity.

Your generosity will make a significant difference, providing much-needed relief and hope to Floyd and Linda as they navigate this difficult journey.
