Support Evelyn's Fight: Help Her Family Stay Close

Evelyn Louise made her entrance to the world on November 27 at 6:42 p.m., weighing 8 pounds, measuring 20.5 inches, beautiful, and with a full head of black, curly hair. Unfortunately, she was sent to the NICU, then transferred to another children's hospital that same night due to a birth defect, not able to be seen on ultrasound. She was born with a tracheoesophageal fistula, abnormal connection between esophagus and trachea. She had surgery to repair her fistula, and it went so well, and she has an amazing fighting spirit! Plus, Evelyn has an amazing support system from the amazing care given by the medical staff, and of course, mom and dad! She has been in the hospital for 2 weeks recovering. In that time she was also diagnosed with pleural effusion, pneumo, and cellulitis. But she's been labeled a "Superstar!" by the hospital staff.

It's an approximate 2-hour drive for Dan and Kayla to be able to visit Evelyn in the hospital. Any assistance to help cover gas and staying within close proximity to Evelyn will be greatly appreciated until little Evelyn can finally come home. All extra funds raised will be used to help towards Evelyn's medical bills. Please give what you can and keep Dan, Kayla, and Evelyn in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you
