Support Evan Koehn family as they fight cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone. Recently the Evan Koehn family in Bonners Ferry has received news that has changed their priorities dramatically. Evan (44) was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma cancer on his pancreas. It is not a friendly diagnosis but doctors believe it has not spread to other areas which is very good news. With the test results as they are, doctors are recommending aggressive treatment. Treatment plans are chemo for 3 months, then surgery, followed by 3 more months of chemo. The future appears uncertain but they are trying to trust God and they believe in prayer and miracles. Friends have been very supportive in prayers, and in the other ways a community like ours helps each other. Evan has recently started an electrical business (EK Electric) and has enjoyed encouraging results but is not able to continue work during recovery. Evans built a new house about 2 years ago and with it acquired a mortgage without knowing 2 years later he would have this cancer diagnosis. We all know that bills keep coming. We would appreciate it if community and friends could help in whatever way we can. “Many hands make work light” At this point the intent of this fundraiser is to help with day to day living expenses and the medical bills will also have to be addressed. Evan and Lil do not like to ask for help and as friends we don’t want them to have to ask. Thank you for any help, whether big or small. God can multiply any offering.
