Our dear friends Erin and Nate Jay are facing an unimaginable challenge after their home caught fire yesterday. The fire, believed to have started from an e-bike battery explosion in their shed, quickly spread and left their house severely damaged. While the structure itself isn't a total loss, nearly all of their belongings have been destroyed by smoke and water damage. To make matters worse, they also lost one of their cars. Erin, Nate, and their two sons are currently staying in a hotel, unsure of when they'll be able to return home and begin rebuilding their lives.

The funds raised will help Erin and Nate cover insurance gaps and the lag time before any assistance arrives. Nate, a contractor, lost many of his tools in the fire, making it difficult for him to work and support his family. The family also needs to replace essentials like clothes, shoes, and other daily necessities for themselves and their two sons. This support will help them get back on their feet and provide some stability during this overwhelming time.
