Support Equality for Children

LGBTQ+ parents in Ireland demand that their children are given the same rights as others in the country and allowed to have both of their parents legally recognised as such. We are sick of waiting for flawed legislation to be fixed, amended, and tinkered with, only for the finished product to cover just a fraction of our community. A group of us have come together to form Equality for Children, an organisation which aims to ensure that all children of LGBTQ+ parents can have a birth certificate with their parents named on it, no matter how they were conceived or the gender of their parents.

We are raising funds to cover our start-up costs and our first campaign. We will be using the donations to pay for our website, logo and materials, printing of a book of our stories to be delivered to Simon Harris and other relevant people, etc.

We hugely appreciate anything you can give. We have been ignored and placated by government for long enough. It is now time for us to fight for our childrens’ rights.
