It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic and unexpected passing of our beloved sous chef, Edgar Cruz.

Edgar began his journey with us as a line cook and quickly rose to the role of sous chef—an achievement earned through extraordinary talent, an unwavering work ethic, and a spirit that lifted everyone around him. In the most intense moments of service, Edgar was the steady hand, the calm center, and the person you always wanted by your side. He was adored by his team, respected by all who worked with him, and cherished for his kindness, humility, and dedication to his craft.

Edgar’s professionalism and pride in his work reflected the strong, hardworking family he came from. He is survived by his loving mother, father, and three younger siblings, who are now facing the unimaginable grief of losing a beloved son and brother.

We are raising funds to support Edgar’s family during this heartbreaking time—helping with funeral expenses and providing some financial relief as they begin to navigate life without him. No matter the size, every contribution will go directly to his family.
