Hi, my name is Thanh Pham,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my mother, Dung Pham, who is 57 years old, a devoted mother of two, and a proud grandmother of two. Anyone who has had the blessing of meeting her knows how selfless and loving she is. She is the type of person who will never let you go hungry—if you’re near her, she makes sure you’re well-fed and cared for. Her warmth and kindness have touched everyone around her.

Three years ago, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Inflammatory Breast Cancer. It was an incredibly difficult battle—she endured rounds of chemotherapy, radiation twice a day for almost two months, and a mastectomy that removed her right breast along with cancerous lymph nodes. After years of fighting, she finally heard the words we had all prayed for: she was cancer-free. That victory brought her tears of joy, and we were so grateful to have her back, stronger than ever.

But on August 14, 2025, after a PET scan, lung biopsy, and several other tests, we received the devastating news that her breast cancer has returned, this time as Stage 4. This means she will now be on chemotherapy medication for the rest of her life. Already weakened from her previous treatments and surgeries—leaving her right arm severely limited—she is no longer able to work. For someone who has always been full of energy and loved keeping busy, this news has been heartbreaking.

While we can’t change this diagnosis, I want to do everything I can to give my mom the comfort and support she deserves. My hope is to raise funds to help ease the financial burden and allow her to live the rest of her days with a little more peace and comfort.
