Hi, my name is Kathy Dale, wife of Dewey Dale. I am reaching out to the community for help. Dewey received a devastating diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma, a form of non-small lung cancer. This news has turned our world upside down, and we are facing an unexpected and challenging journey.

The diagnosis is now in Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma. This cancer originates in the mucus-secreting glands of the lungs. The cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in his chest.

The tumor is located in the upper right and middle lobes. We are working with an oncologist at Loyola University Cardinal Cancer Center. The treatment plan involved (Dewey had a right lung lobectmy to remove tumor.

We had a two week appointment to see the Oncologist and the results came back from pathology revealing Stage 3 Adenocarcinoma Lymph nodes. The oncologist explained to us he will need chemotherapy and radiation.

While we are hopeful about the treatment plan and Dewey fighting spirit, the financial burden is already immense and continues to grow.

Dewey is currently unable to work due to side effects and recovery. Our immediate needs include.

• Coverage of hospital bills and diagnostic testing not covered by insurance

•Basic living expensive has mortgage. food, utilities while Dewey is off work

• Gas driving to appointments

How the support will help Dewey to focus solely on healing and recovery, without added stress of medical and household bills.
