Support Denise and Her Mom After Car Accident

“On November 22nd, 2024, Denise and her Mom were on the way to their seventh weekend of working and performing at the Texas Renaissance Festival. They were taking their usual route along Highway 75. They were just coming over a slight hill when a massive 250lb+ buck collided with their Mitsubishi Outlander.

Thankfully they were fortunate enough to maintain control and walk away without injury, but the same could NOT be said for their car. They had to get towed from Centerville to Waxahachie, where the collision center delivered the heavy news that the car was totaled. Usually this wouldn’t be a problem—“insurance would cover it.” But it has been a very challenging year for them. Between her Mom’s disability, and Denise’s sudden job loss earlier this year, followed by months of tireless job hunting and interviewing, they have fought and struggled to even stay afloat, much less be able to afford necessities that have become luxuries—such as full coverage insurance. The limited liability policy that they have fought to maintain is of no help in the situation, leaving them without any form of transportation, new challenges, and even more stress.

In order to make it to the final weekend of Texas Renaissance Festival, where Denise and her mother have worked for over a decade—Denise currently on stage as a stunning performer in “The Magikhana Show”, and her mother working sale/delighting customers with her charming interactions in the “Wee Peeple” shop—they have been forced by necessity to rent a car. Once The Texas Renaissance Festival season has come to a close, they will be looking for a new or used car which is an expense they just cannot achieve on their own at this time. So they are reaching out for help, from anyone who can or feels moved to assist. Even the smallest donation can make the biggest difference, for these two amazing humans.
