Hi, my name is Emma Power and I am raising funds for my brother in law Darren Clare.

Darren is someone who always puts others first. He’s a loving husband, father, and brings positivity to everyone that knows him.

Recently Darren’s life drastically changed when he was diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumour (glioblastoma), an aggressive form of brain cancer. Glioblastoma outcomes are consistently ranked among the worst of all cancers.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Darren by providing access to potential experimental life-saving treatment that would otherwise not be available. Should this not be viable funds will be donated to brainstrust and Clatterbridge Cancer charities.

This fundraiser includes a walking challenge that I am completing for Darren. The goal is to walk the equivalent distance from John o’Groats to Land’s End in the UK as quickly as possible - steps to be completed = 1.8million (start date: April 18th).
