I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Danyelle, her husband Hunter Iverson, and their family during an incredibly difficult and unexpected season.

In January, Danyelle and Hunter welcomed their beautiful newborn baby — a time that should have been filled with rest, bonding, and joy. However, just weeks later, their lives were turned upside down.

A couple of months ago, Hunter learned he would need open-heart surgery. Leading up to the surgery, he was battling a serious infection in his blood and required ongoing antibiotic treatment, which forced him to be out of work during that time. Despite everything, they remained hopeful as they prepared for surgery.

Recently, Hunter underwent open-heart surgery and is now in critical condition. While doctors are doing everything they can, it’s clear that Hunter has a long road to recovery ahead.

Danyelle is now facing the unimaginable — caring for a newborn while also supporting her husband through critical care and an uncertain recovery. Alongside the emotional toll, the financial burden has continued to grow.

We have set a goal of $6,500 to help cover:

1. Medical bills and hospital expenses.

2. Living expenses while Hunter has been unable to work.

3. Newborn baby costs, including essential care and supplies.

Our hope is to ease the financial stress so Danyelle can focus on being there for Hunter and caring for their baby during the months ahead.
