Support Dan Lomonaco's Fight for Life

Hello friends, I am writing on behalf of my dear friend Evelyn Lomonaco:

On Saturday November 2nd Dan was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and a severe lung abscess. Over the past week his condition has worsened significantly and he is now at Butterworth ICU on a ventilator. His current diagnosis is Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which you may remember from covid. His lungs and heart are struggling. A large amount of blood clots are present all over his body, putting him at extremely high risk for stroke or heart attack. After two nights of setbacks, he is in a medically induced coma and fighting for his life. At this point Dan's options may be limited to treatments that are risky, and Evelyn will have to decide with the doctors what to do next.

Dan is sorely missed in his role as father, husband, and primary caregiver for their sons Vito (10) and Sal (8) and manager for Evelyn's care as a cancer survivor. Please lift Dan, Evelyn and the boys up in prayer and help support them through the holidays and on the long road to recovery. When he leaves the hospital he will have a long road of recovery ahead of him.

In addition to prayers, we are asking for funds. Dan and Evelyn will be using donations to cover critical issues like repairing their car as well as daily expenses and holiday gifts for the boys.
