I am from a family of 5 and my oldest brother Craig was admitted to ICU on May 8 with Legionella Pneumonia. We had never heard of this and are finding out more information each day, but the Legionella has shut down his kidneys, and therefore he is on continuous dialysis. It has also attacked his lung, and he had to be intubated on May 9 and is still on a ventilator. Today is May 19, and it's been 10 days on a ventilator. It has also damaged his heart.

He started his job 4 months ago, so he does not qualify for short-term disability through his employer. He was the main source of income for his family, and with him in the hospital with a very long road of recovery ahead, my siblings and I are asking for help. This is something that we have never done before, so we are hoping we can use the social media platform to help raise money for him and his family.
