Hi, I’m Emily Pearson, and I’m reaching out on behalf of The Colony Cat Advocates Inc.
While we are proud to announce that we are now officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are far from new to the trenches. Our team has been on the front lines of community cat advocacy in Marinette and Menominee for years.
We know our methods work because we’ve seen the results. When we started, we took on a massive, unmanaged colony in Menominee with over 20 cats and kittens. Through aggressive Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), collaborating with colony caretakers, and placing friendly cats into adoptive homes, we reduced that population to less than 10. Most importantly: not a single new kitten has been born there since we stepped in. That is the ultimate goal.
To date, we’ve gotten hundreds of forgotten, friendly strays fully vetted and into forever homes, while humanely stabilizing outdoor populations through TNR and fostering/socializing.
Now that we are an official nonprofit, your financial support is 100% tax-deductible. Every dollar directly funds:
Medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries to humanely stop overpopulation.
Providing food, winter shelters, and resources for the dedicated caretakers watching over these special cats.
We have the strategy and the work ethic, but we need the resources to keep moving. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Colony Cat Advocates today.
Together, we can change lives.
