On March 26th CJ (Carole Flenniken) underwent a craniectomy due to a subdural hematoma after a fall. Approximately 3 weeks ago she had a second surgery; a titanium mesh implant was placed in her head where her skull was left off 3/26. We have been battling insurance to get her the therapy she needs in order to recover from her brain injury. She is currently in an acute rehab facility in Longview. In a short number of days we will be expected to self pay to continue her much needed therapy. She is an RN, has a master's degree, works for United Health Care, and our health care system has absolutely failed her. First and foremost, prayers are appreciated; but any help financially would also be extremely helpful.
