My name is Charlie, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. In July, I underwent a triple bypass surgery, but just three weeks later, the bypass failed and I suffered another heart attack. Since then, I’ve faced ongoing complications and several additional procedures, which have made it impossible for me to return to work.

I was receiving temporary disability, and with the help of a previous GoFundMe, I was able to stay afloat for a while. However, I just learned that my temporary disability has run out, and I am now facing the very real threat of eviction. I have recently been referred to rehab as the next step in my recovery, but I still have no clear timetable for when I’ll be able to work again.

I am asking for help to cover my rent while I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.
