Hello. My name is Carlos. Since my mother passed away from Dementia, whom I took care of for 15 years (the last 7 with Dementia) until she took her last breath, I have been surviving, but recently my hours got cut from 37 to 9 hours a week, and I couldn't pay rent for November, but graciously they allowed me to stay until December. My medical insurance also cut me off, and I have been without my medication since September and been suffering without it for my plaque Psoriasis and had a bad flare up. Come this Monday, December 1st, I have to move out and will be sleeping in my car until I can get into a shelter, which they are currently full. This is embarrassing, but I don't know what else to do. I'm looking for full time work, or a second job. I'm not asking for much, just a little help to buy sustain me. I get food stamps, not much ($50 dollars a month), but hopefully that changes since my situation has changed for the worst, and I don't get them until the second week of December. December is the coldest month of the year, along with January. I just need a little bit to survive until I get into the shelter, more food stamps, and buy things that food stamps can't buy, like gas for work and blankets, doing my laundry, storage totes for my clothes to keep in my trunk, shower stuff, etc. I have always paid it forward, even when I'm down and don't have much to give, as that's the world I would like to believe in that we live in, people helping people, especially when we are down. Again, I'm not asking for much, and this is only temporary. Anytjing helps. God bless you, and if God is not your thing, may good Karma be blessed upon you and good juju or good vibes be upon you. Whatever it is, may it be good.
