Support Bruce Hembree's Funeral Fund and bills

Donation protected
Edit: Dad passed away the morning of May 24th. We will be using Repperts Funeral Home in Berea. When we finalize arrangements I will share them.
My dad, Bruce Hembree, had a massive heart attack on May 5th at his house. When he coded at home, my mom, his wife (Marietta Hembree) started CPR while EMS were on their way. When they arrived they worked on dad some more. He was gone for about 40 minutes til they got a heart beat back. He then coded again once he got to the hospital but once again they got his heart beating and they put a stent in his blocked artery. He has been in ICU at the hospital in Richmond since then. He is now suffering from anoxic brain injury, which occurs when the brain goes without oxygen for so long. We had a brief moment of hope when dad opened his eyes and started responding to pain. But on Sunday May 18th, he stopped responding to pain. Dad has been on the vent at 30% most of the time he's been here.

Due to the extent of the brain damage, dad will not be recovering like we had hoped.

Only being able to breathe by a machine is not the kind of life my dad would want to live. As a family, we believe it is best to help dad be comfortable, turn off the vent, and let him be with Jesus.

We will turn the vent off tomorrow, May 20th, but he may not pass instantly, could be minutes, hours or days.

Any funds raised will be used for dads funeral and to help my mom with any other bills, as dad was the primary provider.

Any amount big or small means so much to us during this difficult time. You may also give money directly to my mom (Marietta Hembree), my brother (Shawn Hembree) or myself (Lekisha Hembree).

If you are not able to donation please don't feel bad. Sharing also helps alot too ♥️

Date of services will be announced later when we know more.

Thank you and may God bless you,
The Family of Bruce Hembree
