Yesterday, I lost my brother, my best friend, my rock, in an unexpected tragic way. He was suffering from bleeding in the brain, which led to brain death. We still don't know how this happened or why. All we know is we lost the funniest, sweetest, most selfless person anyone could ever meet. Anyone who knows Brendan knows that he always put everyone else first. His heart was too kind; if you ever needed anything, he would offer to help without you even asking. You could be venting about something, and he would immediately do anything he could to put a smile on your face. He was a wonderful uncle to my daughter, so much so that they were best friends. He was an amazing friend to anyone who knew him.

We really need help with the cost of his cremation and being able to throw him a celebration of life. No one could have anticipated that this would happen. The doctors said he didn't suffer, and that's the most we could ask for in this devastating time. Any help at all would be most appreciated. Someone as wonderful as him deserves to have all of his final wishes.
