Hi, my name is Brandi Scott.

I am a 51-year-old hardworking wife and mother of two boys. My oldest son, Aidyn, is on the spectrum, high-functioning but deals with introversion and social anxiety. My youngest son, Liam, was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in January and is now insulin dependent for life.

I'm starting this fundraiser because on May 8th, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. My type of cancer is invasive ductal carcinoma that is Her2 positive. While this is treatable it means I am actively going through chemotherapy, will need surgury, radiation, and hormone replacement therapy. This diagnosis is not only an incredible shock to me and my family but is already having a devastating effect on my household. Weeks of testing and now the early phase of treatment have caused and continue to cause me to miss many days of work, leading to financial hardship. If you know me, I'm not one to usually ask for help or beg in any way, but sometimes it's necessary to push your pride aside and seek help by any means. Will you open your heart and help my family survive this tumultuous time in our lives?
