Hi, my name is Briana — but this story is really about my dog, Bowser.

Bowser came into my life when I needed him most. I lost both of my parents just 11 months apart, and for a long time, I felt completely alone. Then Bowser showed up — this big, goofy, gentle soul with eyes that somehow carried every ounce of love I’d been missing. He became my family, my reason to get up, and the heartbeat that keeps me going.

This past year has been hard on him. He went through heartworm treatment — months of medication, rest, and scary moments where I didn’t know if he’d make it. But Bowser is a fighter. He pulled through, tail wagging and all, and we got to hear those beautiful words: “He’s heartworm negative.”

Recently, he’s had tummy issues that reminded me just how fragile things can be. Every vet visit, every medication, every emergency — they add up. But I’ll always do whatever it takes to make sure Bowser gets the care he deserves.

I’m asking for kindness in Bowser’s name. This emergency fund is my wish — a promise to keep him safe, healthy, and protected for all the years we have left together.

Every dollar will go directly toward Bowser’s medical care — emergency visits, medications, tests, and anything needed to keep him healthy and strong.
