Bob Reed is a good friend who needs help after major neck surgery. Doctors fused four vertebrae in his neck and inserted four titanium pins. He is now in a rehab hospital and is expected to be there for a number of weeks. Bob is in his 70s, and this recovery is going to take time.
While Bob is in rehab, he is not able to work and is not bringing in any income to help pay the bills. At the same time, his medical expenses have already climbed to more than $60,000, and Medicaid will not cover everything. With Bob unable to work for a couple of months, the financial pressure on his household is growing quickly.
This fundraiser was started because Bob's wife asked for help setting up a GoFundMe for Bob and their family during this difficult time. Donations will first go toward household bills, then toward the medical bills that continue to add up.
If you are able to give, any amount would make a real difference for Bob Reed and his family as he focuses on rehab and recovery. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean a great deal.
