Belal is a skilled carpenter from Gaza whose life has been turned upside down by the ongoing war. Before the conflict, Belal worked hard to provide for his family, but now he has lost everything. He is not only fighting for his own survival, but also for the lives of his sister, her children, and his own wife and children. After being forced to leave the only shelter he had, Belal and his loved ones lived in a tent. Now, even that small refuge has been lost, leaving them completely exposed to danger and uncertainty with no safety in sight.
I met Belal through social media and have followed his journey for a long time. Over the months, I have witnessed his situation deteriorate as he struggles to protect his family and keep hope alive. Despite the unimaginable challenges, Belal continues to do everything he can to care for those who depend on him.
This fundraiser is dedicated to helping Belal and his family survive these difficult times. The funds raised will go directly toward their basic needs—food, water, and temporary shelter—while also supporting efforts to get them to safety. Every contribution will make a real difference in helping Belal and his family find security and hope for the future. My name is Pamela Kombe a 53-year-old grandmother from Pennsylvania, raising my autistic grandchild. I can no longer look away from genocide. There are human lives being lost daily. I have been on this journey with Belal and his family. I can no longer watch him die. Please, recognize what's going on, and don't look away. These finds for Belal with be used for the survival of him and his family. The funds will got directly to Belal. Belal is in Northern Gaza. Belal and his family could be safe with the right amount of funds.
