Support Ashton through treatment for Hodgkin Lymphoma

This gorgeous young human has an incredible spirit for life. He loves having his community around him and is known by many as a generous, ambitious and loving person.

Ashton is studying year 11/12 at the local secondary college. When not studying he is training in Muay Thai sports or working at the local Theatre Royal.

This last 6 months Ashton has been planning a trip to Germany with his friend to visit family. They had just saved enough for a plane ticket and booked their trip. Ashton has always been determined to make his life ambitions become a reality. He has no hesitation to work hard in order to follow his dreams.

Just when he was about to venture out into the world Ashton developed severe back pain. Due to the quick thinking of his mum’s he ended up at Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne where he had emergency neurosurgery.

He had a tumour on his spine.

Ashton and his family now know what they are facing. He has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Stage 4.

It has spread through his lymph nodes to his neck, his stomach, his spleen, his lungs and his spine.

Ashton will undergo 6 months of Chemotherapy for this.

This cancer has good outcomes with treatment but he would really benefit from adjunct therapy to maximise the effectiveness of the chemotherapy.

He is young and he is very healthy apart from what he is facing medically right now. Our hope is that we can raise some money to support his family in this time, as well as pay for the adjunct therapy.

We would really love to help send him to Germany once he has recovered.
