"Hey, everyone! My name is Andrew Meza. I’m a nursing student at Auburn University, and I have an amazing opportunity to travel abroad to Ecuador for a medical mission trip. We will be partnering with Servants in Faith and Technology (SIFAT). To offer health clinics to people in need, we will also participate in Vacation Bible School to help spread the good news of Jesus.
I am excited to have the opportunity to travel abroad and apply my nursing skills in practice. Ecuador faces significant challenges in healthcare, and many people there need support and education about their health. This trip will not only strengthen my nursing skills in a unique environment but also deepen my appreciation for different cultures. additionally, we will be working with the pediatric population, an area I am passionate about and hope to work in one day. As a native Spanish speaker, I believe I can make a meaningful impact by effectively communicating with patients and build trusting relationships,
My faith plays a vital role in my life, and I’m excited about the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus during this trip. Whether through Vacation Bible school or in the clinics I look forward to connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. This experience will enable me to minister to others through healthcare, compassion, and community support, allowing me to make a meaningful impact in their lives.
I would greatly appreciate any support you can offer, whether through a donation or by sharing this post. Anything will help!
Thank you!
