Doação protegida
Baby Elsie has arrived. She decided she was done waiting and quickly arrived yesterday. Now the Hastings are off to learn their new normal while Elsie spends a bit of time getting used to the world in the NICU. Hendrix and Paisley are off to school and Tyler and Alyssa are going to juggle it all! They could still use our support if you are able, if not please please share!
Alyssa is the picture of strength, love, and dedication. She is a devoted wife, caring mother, an amazing friend to many, and works so hard to make others feel special and beautiful whether it's their birthday or their wedding day, she shows up for everyone. As Alyssa, Tyler, Hendrix, and Paisley eagerly await the arrival of their little girl, Alyssa has continued to balance her roles with incredible energy and love. Alyssa always goes above and beyond for her family, friends, and everyone she meets.
Recently, The Hastings' life took an unexpected and difficult turn. After a heartbreaking miscarriage on January 7th, Alyssa and her family found hope with a positive pregnancy test on February 10th. But on July 28th, Alyssa experienced signs that her water had broken, and she felt unusually dehydrated. Even though she tried to push through, she listened to her instincts and contacted her doctor. The doctor confirmed that her water had indeed broken, and Alyssa was diagnosed with Pre-labor Rupture of Membranes (PPROM). This condition means the amniotic sac has broken before labor starts, putting both Alyssa and her baby at high risk.
To protect both mother and baby, Alyssa has to stay in the hospital until her baby is born. The goal is to keep the baby inside until September 6th, which is six weeks earlier than the original due date of October 18th. This early delivery may mean the baby will need to stay in the NICU, though the details are still uncertain.
The impact on Alyssa's family has been huge. Hendrix and Paisley are struggling with their mom being in the hospital. They’re trying to finish their annual summer bucket list with the help of family and friends, but they miss Alyssa dearly. Both girls are excited about their new sister but are finding it tough without their mom around.
Because of her medical situation, Alyssa has had to cancel all her appointments and won’t be able to work for months. As a self-employed hairstylist, Alyssa doesn’t have access to disability benefits or other forms of financial support. The family is facing rising medical bills and the loss of Alyssa’s income.
Alyssa has always been there for others, whether it’s making her clients feel special, supporting her extended family, or being a great friend. Now, it’s our turn to support her. Your help can ease the financial strain on Alyssa’s family during this challenging time. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help them through this difficult period.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for standing by Alyssa and her family during this crucial time.
