Hi I am Alex Walker (legally Kichelle). I am 27 years old, Texas born and raised, and I came out to my parents as queer back in February 2023. Because of that, my parents kicked me out of their house and I have been living with my older sister ever since.

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety ever since I was 14 years old and for the past couple of months I have been dealing with a lot of mental health issues ranging from panic attacks, suicidal idealization, and self harm. Because of this, I lost focus on my job and was fired for my lack of attendance.

I have been looking for full-time jobs for over a month and was denied Unemployment Benefits because of one the qualifications in the state that I live in, you can not be fired.

My sister and I are currently at risk losing our apartment. All of the money from this campaign is going towards that while I look for both full and half-time jobs. Thank you and have a great day.
