Chicago Transit Authority Trackworker and Welder Alex Gonzalez was in desperate need of a kidney transplant, and when coworker and fellow Trackworker Lee Stark heard this, he decided to get tested to see if he was a match. After a long process of doctors visits and blood work, it was determined that Lee was a match. Without hesitation and in the truest display of friendship, Lee decided to move forward in the kidney donation process.

The surgery is set for Wednesday, November 6th, 2024. Both Alex and Lee have a long road to recovery before they return to work. I started this GoFundMe to raise money for these two great guys, wanting to help them out financially while they are recovering at home.

This GoFundMe is for both Alex and Lee, and donations will be split 50/50.
