On Monday evening, my best friend’s boyfriend, AJ, was in an unfortunate motorcycle accident. On his way home from work, an oncoming car took a left turn without a signal or looking for another vehicle. AJ was struck head on, ejected from his bike into the windshield of the vehicle, where he then rolled on top of the roof. He was rushed to a trauma hospital in Savannah, GA and has broken his tibia, fibula, and heel. On Tuesday morning, he underwent surgery where they placed a metal rod in his leg. Surgery went well, however, AJ does have a long road to recovery ahead of him and he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future.

Crystal and AJ are the best people I know. They don’t know that I am creating a go fund me, but my hope is to rally together and be able to provide them with a little financial relief to cover bills and medical expenses so that AJ can recover in peace while both him and Crystal navigate their new normal for a little while.
