Hi, my name is Jessica Adcox. My fiancé, Daniel, and I are raising money for my sister-in-law, Emily, and her two daughters, Eowyn and Esme, who were in a tragic car accident, claiming Esme’s life and placing Emily in the hospital for emergency surgeries and extensive care.

 

Esme was 14 years old, a bright and deeply caring soul. She was an excellent soccer player and musician, playing the clarinet and piano beautifully without needing to read music. In addition, she cared deeply for animals, especially her beloved cat named Martha Washington, and the chickens from which she would collect their eggs. She was an avid hiker and loved spending time with her many friends enjoying the outdoors and sunshine. Esme was the youngest of four children and was looking forward to seeing her eldest brother return from his mission, going to high school, and eventually college to be a forensic specialist. She was looking forward to going on a cruise with her cousin this summer and participating in trek with her church.

 

Esme was a child filled with wonder and fearlessness and it is unfortunate and tragic to have lost such a bright light so soon. Esme is survived by her older sister, Eowyn, two older brothers, Tuckerby and Danner, her father, Billy, who is a veteran, and her mother, Emily, who is currently being treated for the injuries she sustained in the crash.

 

Any and all proceeds from this fund will go to funeral expenses for Esme and medical bills for Emily’s treatment. Anything you can contribute is welcomed and appreciated as we navigate this difficult time with our family.
