My cousin, who is a single mother widow of a veteran, and my niece and nephew have suffered a devastating loss after their home was completely flooded by the storm on Sunday night. They lived in a first level of the home for more than 20 years and the water broke a window and rushed in so quickly they had to be rescued out of the window as the water was pouring in. They suffered injuries from the broken glass requiring stitches. The water flooded almost to the ceiling causing massive damage. Everything they own has been covered in water. We are trying to dry out whatever we can save and the rest is destroyed. They lost 2 of their cars that got flooded. This catastrophe is not covered by insurance. They are homeless and are staying us with their 2 dogs until we can figure out their next steps. If you are able to contribute anything it would be greatly appreciated
