Here is a message from the family in need:

"I am a single mother raising my children and doing everything I can to protect my family during an extremely difficult and frightening time. Along with my two sisters, we are living with constant fear due to everything that is currently happening.

I have four children, ages 14, 10, 7, and 3. My greatest priority has always been to keep them safe, fed, emotionally stable, and with a secure place to live. I have worked very hard since the day I arrived in this country, always striving to build a better future for my children and my family.

At this moment, I am going through very difficult emotional circumstances. I have been unable to work for the past three months, and the stress of unpaid bills has become overwhelming. I am facing urgent expenses such as rent, utilities, food for my children, and legal fees. I am currently required to pay two different attorneys due to ongoing legal and immigration matters, and unfortunately, our immigration situation has not improved.

It is deeply painful to experience this reality after fighting so hard to build a life here. Our children already have a life established in this country — they attend school, have routines, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Yet we are being treated like criminals and live with the constant fear of being forced to leave, which has severely impacted our emotional stability.

For safety reasons and out of fear, I have limited my movements and do not feel safe sharing personal information such as my address with strangers. At this time, staying at home is part of my effort to protect my children emotionally and physically, ensure they are fed, and keep them in a safe environment while we navigate this situation, as I do not currently have legal status in this country.

This fundraiser is being created strictly as an emergency resource to help my family cover basic necessities such as housing, food, and essential legal expenses during this critical period. Any support, no matter the amount, would make a meaningful difference for my children and our family.
