On October 11th 2025, 14-year-old Samuel was attacked by a shark while fishing with his friends on Thursday Island. He is currently in critical condition, receiving urgent medical care in Townsville and will be transferred soon to Brisbane.
This fundraiser has been set up to support Samuel and his family during this difficult time.
While Samuel fights to recover, his family is facing overwhelming emotional and financial challenges.

- Medical expenses
- Travel and accommodation costs for Samuel’s family to be by his side while he receives care
- Household and living expenses while his parents take time off work
