Superhero son Sebastian cuts hair after cancer treatment

My superhero son Sebastian was diagnosed with cancer at 18months old. He underwent a horrific treatment plan which included chemotherapy, surgery, brachytherapy and too many pokes, prods and procedures to mention.

Since lock down he has been growing his hair to donate to the Little Princess Trust and on Sunday had his beautiful golden locks chopped. He donated over 110cms in total to make wigs for children who are going through the horrors he did.

he doesn’t remember his treatment plan but we saw the joy and sense of identity these wigs give to a child and young person.

The hair is going to the little Princess Trust but Seb would like to raise as much money as possible for two charities. Children with Cancer UK to research and support projects to find cures for others so they don’t have to endure what we as a family did. The other charity is a local charity called Forward Facing who do amazing work making memories and supporting families and children with life limiting illnesses and who have been left bereaved.
