This has been a rough year for the Mudge household. My dad Gary has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It has spread to his bones, and he is in a lot of pain. The doctors have told us that he has about 6 months to live. With treatment he can live another quality 2-4 years. Possibly more. For everyone that knows my dad, you know he’s tough, and he won’t go down without a fight. He is in good spirits and is staying positive. He is my best friend and it sucks to see him like this. He will require alot of care. I am the only family here in Florida and will be caring for him. I have downsized my business considerably, and will have very limited income at this time. The care and treatment that he will need isn’t cheap. His insurance doesn’t cover the total cost for his treatments. He starts Chemo on Tuesday. We are not the people to normally ask for help, but in this situation we have limited answers. Anything that you can possibly give would be greatly appreciated. Please share. Thank you!
