Mandy Tunheim and her two children, Zayne (7) and Mayah (8 months) were involved in a motor vehicle accident northwest of Langford on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.  All three were taken to the Avera St Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.

Mayah lost her life later that evening from life threatning injuries. Zayne is currently in the ICU at Sanford Children's Hopsital in Sioux Falls with life-threatening injuries. Mandy suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and has been discharged from Avera St Luke's Hospital to be reunited with her son in Sioux Falls. 

The LHS Class of 2008 wanted to sponsor this fundraiser for Mandy, Jay  and their family to help cover medical expenses and other expenses that result from this tradgedy.
