Steve’s Knees

I’m so thankful for all the support Steve and I have received thus far! Steve blew both ACL’s (CCL’s) and needs two surgeries. it will be six long months of recovery and unthinkable expense but if there was ever a dog worth the effort, it’s Steve. He is the most spectacular dog. He is the biggest love. Best trained, most eager to please, funny, sweet gentle beast. He is my heart.

The first surgery was completed on March 21st and he seems to healing and progressing well.  Second Surgery is May 16th.  Each surgery is nearly 5K.  2-3 aftercare check ups with X-rays per knee needed. Piles of money spent already for assessment, medication, and other items needed to ensure a safe and successful recuperation.  I’m hoping to raise enough for professional PT. He’s expensive but he’s magnificent. Thank you!!
