Hi, my name’s Ste, and in aid of this year’s 2025 Toy Appeal, I’ll be walking the full 10A bus route – from St Helens to Liverpool One – on Friday 14th November, come wind, rain, or snow!
All proceeds and donations will go towards buying toys for underprivileged children across the Merseyside community.
Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who supported the appeal, over 238 items were donated and distributed through local resource centres and schools such as Centre 63, Fazakerley, St Helens, and Kirkby High School, ensuring that help reached those who needed it most. The feedback we received was truly moving — one centre told us that a staff member was brought to tears, saying they thought they wouldn’t have enough toys that year, and that without the donations, some children would have received nothing for Christmas.
This year, we’re aiming to go even further — making sure that every toy reaches the right age group and that no child in need is left out. I’ll also be working closely with Lorrain Gavin and contacts to make sure support gets to families and centres who really need it, including those affected by domestic violence, as we did last year.
Every penny counts — your donation, big or small, will help make Christmas brighter for a child who might otherwise go without. ❤️
Thank you for your support.
