❤️ Help My Son, Tramon Jackson, Recover After the FAMU Homecoming Shooting

My name is Tammy Saylor, and I am the proud mother of my 15-year-old son, Tramon Jackson.

As a mother, you never imagine having to face something like this. You send your child out into the world expecting him to come home safely. On October 24, 2026, our lives changed when my son was shot during the violence that erupted near Perry and Manatee streets following Florida A&M University's homecoming football game in Tallahassee, Florida.

Tramon is a sophomore at Leon High School and a talented junior-varsity football player with a bright future ahead of him. He is only 15 years old, with so much life left to live, dreams to pursue, and goals to accomplish.

According to news reports, Tramon was shot twice, suffering gunshot wounds to his shoulder and back. He was not involved in the altercation that preceded the shooting. My son was simply there enjoying the homecoming festivities when this tragedy occurred.

My child should be thinking about school, football, his future, and being a teenager—not fighting to recover from gun violence.

As he receives medical care and begins the road to recovery, I am asking for help from our family, friends, and the Tallahassee community. This has been an incredibly difficult and frightening experience, and I want to be able to focus on my son's healing without being overwhelmed by the additional financial burdens this situation may bring.
