Dear Community,

If you know Laura Vega, you know she is so much more than just a talented event producer—she is a true beacon of light. With her infectious energy, fierce dedication, and a heart that always puts others first, Laura has spent years building the magic behind the scenes of our favorite festivals, events and supporting our community with unwavering kindness. Now, it's our turn to hold that light for her.

Last week, Laura suffered a devastating accident while working on site at an East Coast music festival. On her way to breakfast she was involved in an UTV accident and was thrown from the vehicle. She sustained serious injuries including multiple fractures to her arm and a severe concussion from blunt force trauma. She was rushed by ambulance to the ER. Once released she began the difficult journey of returning back home to San Francisco. She is now home in the care of her doctors, but the road ahead is steep.

Laura is currently facing a long, challenging recovery. Because of the severity of her injuries, she will be unable to return to the work she loves for at least the next six months. As she focuses on the hard work of healing her body and mind, we want to make sure she doesn't have to carry the weight of financial stress alone. We are coming together to raise $35,000 to cover her essential needs during this time:

Supporting Her Healing Journey

Medical Care: Covering hospital out-of-pocket costs, deductibles, and co-pays from the accident.

Specialist Support: Vital follow-up visits, imaging, and neurological monitoring for her concussion.

Rehabilitation: Physical and occupational therapy to help her regain her strength and mobility.

Peace of Mind: Rent, utilities, and nutritious meals to ensure her home remains a sanctuary while she is unable to work.

Daily Assistance: In-home help and transportation for medical appointments while she is immobilized.

We are launching this fund to create a safety net of love for Laura.
