Hi, my name is Lexi, and I am starting this fundraiser for my mom. She was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in her pancreas, an aggressive form of cancer. She is receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic, which is nearly a five-hour drive from her home. For the next six months, she will be traveling there every other week for chemotherapy in hopes that the treatment will shrink the cancer away from her artery and allow her to move forward with surgery. Alongside chemotherapy, she is also pursuing a holistic route to give her body every possible chance at healing.

If you know my mom, you know she is the most generous and giving person. Since I was a kid, all I can remember is her helping others—always putting their needs before her own. She has poured love and kindness into everyone around her, and now she is walking through one of the hardest journeys of her life.

Through it all, my mom’s faith in God has remained strong. She is leaning on Him for strength, peace, and healing as she takes on this battle. Our family believes in the power of prayer, and we are trusting that God is working even in the hardest moments.

The road ahead is long and difficult. Between the constant travel, medical expenses, and the cost of supportive care, the financial burden is heavy. This GoFundMe has been set up to help ease some of that weight so my mom can focus on what matters most—fighting for her life, leaning on her faith, and holding on to hope.
